Endocrinology Opportunity - Outpatient Community-Based Practice
Location: Hudson, NY - Albany 35m, New York 120m
Setting: Outpatient/Ambulatory Clinic
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hospital-Employed
Permanent position
Position Highlights:
* Provide comprehensive endocrine care including management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal/pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
* Outpatient-only practice with minimal to no inpatient call
* Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure continuity of care
* Initiate and manage insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems
* Participate in quality improvement efforts and community health outreach
* Strong support from nursing and clinical staff
* EPIC EMR system used across the organization

Ideal Candidate:
* MD or DO with completion of Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
* Eligible for New York medical license and DEA certification
* Interest in rural health and underserved populations preferred
* Skilled communicator with a collaborative, patient-centered approach
* Interest in telemedicine a plus
