Job description An exciting opportunity awaits a Board-Certified Endocrinologist to join a collaborative, patient-focused team in Texarkana, TX. We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented physician to support a growing demand for endocrine care in this thriving region. This role offers a balanced schedule and is ideal for those looking to practice evidence-based medicine in a supportive, multi-specialty environment.

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a broad range of endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal/pituitary conditions, metabolic disorders)

Provide comprehensive outpatient care, from initial consultations to long-term disease management

Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and specialty studies

Educate patients on chronic condition management, lifestyle changes, and treatment plans

Collaborate closely with primary care physicians and specialists within CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic for coordinated care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic meetings

Qualifications

Board Certified in Endocrinology (or Board Eligible with plans for certification)

Possess or be eligible for an unrestricted Texas Medical License

Comfortable managing a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, and metabolic disorders

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: Standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Setting: 100% outpatient

Call: No inpatient or hospital call required

Work-Life Balance: Predictable schedule, no weekends or holidays

Skills

Board Certification or Eligibility in Endocrinology

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic reasoning

Effective patient communication and bedside manner

Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment

Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs)

Detail-oriented with a commitment to evidence-based care

Empathy, professionalism, and cultural competence
