Job description
- Examine, diagnose, and provide comprehensive medical treatment for patients with hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other endocrine disorders. Counsel patients on endocrinology disorders and their background.
- Order tests and interpret the results of imaging studies.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication. Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Order supportive care services for patients.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
- Keep up-to-date with endocrinology developments, treatment, and medication.
