26,000 visits annually
24 total beds in the ED
Coverage: 24 Hours Attending, 24 Hours Midlevel = 1.6 pts per hour, high acuity
12 hour shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a computerized scheduling with equal number of shifts (There is one provider that works all nights, so the number of nights may be lower)
Specialty Coverage: acute stroke via telemedicine, Cath lab, neurosurgery, urology, nephrology, etc.
Licensed for 140 total beds
Level 3 Trauma Center
EMR: Medhost
Hospitalists program, ED does not write any holding orders
22% - 28% Admission rate
$215/hour
25K signing bonus
10K relocation allowance
Minimum 12 shifts/ 12 hours each per month
Malpractice and Tail paid.
