Optimum is working with a client who is looking to hire a full-time Emergency Medicine Director for their facility in southern coastal Maine. Responsibilities will include emergency physician staffing, oversight, and participation in the physician rotation. About the Opportunity:
• Schedule: 13 shifts/month; variable 9-hour shifts; no call
• Annual volume: 18,000
• Bread-butter ED cases w/ limited trauma
o Trauma gets shipped out
• Excellent sub-specialty and PA support
• Base salary: $367k + relocation package
o CME allowance + days
o PTO plus full health/retirement benefits
• BC/BE, ABEM; 5 years of ER experience required
