Immediate need for an Emergency Room Physician
- Must be Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Trained.
- You can either be an Employed ER physician or Independent Contractor
- As employed the pay is $177 per hour - requires 12-12 hour shifts per month = 144 hours
- As an Independent $200 per hour - requires 12-12 hour shifts per month = 144 hours
- Physician has to carry their own malpractice
- There are no benefits
- Employed receives
- Signing bonus $15,000
- Student loan repayment up to $60,000
- Relocation allowance paid - up to $10,000
- With employed position - malpractice paid, employee benefits package not limited to Retirement, PTO including 12-12 hour shifts per contract year (144 hours), plus 6 holidays, CME (2,000) and Dues and Memberships (2,000)
- NEED ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS OR CPR FOR FULL-TIME
- Shifts are 6-6, we do allow 24 hour shifts
- Over 1000 visits per month ~ 12,000 per year
- 9 bed unit
- 2 nurses 24/7, 3rd nurse and tech 11a-11p
- Avg 27-30 pts per 24 hours, sometimes up to 50 but that is not the norm. Midnight to 6 am is about 3-4 pts
- Admission rate of 10-15% each month
- Most hearts and major traumas are stabilized and shipped
- Stroke Ready - stabilize and ship

- One of only two Level III Trauma Centers in Kansas.
- Level II - Overland Park, Stormont-Vail, Via Christi, Wesley
- Level I - KU, Wesley and Via Christi
- Tertiary centers in Wichita, Joplin, KC and Tulsa

- Two hours from Kansas City, One hour from Joplin, MO, Two hours from Tulsa, OK
