JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BE/BC Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will consider BE/BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience
• Licenses: Active FL Medical License, Active DEA with FL address, DEA Schedules 2-5 required
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address; Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5 required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS (unless ABEM certified), PALS
• Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine preferred; FM/IM with EM experience required
• Other Qualifications: CME documentation past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, flu vaccination within 12 months, TB screening within 12 months, COVID documentation, malpractice coverage $1M/$10M

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care in a freestanding emergency department
• Perform all DOP-listed procedures including intubation, central line placement, and other emergency interventions
• Manage patients with a wide range of acute conditions in a 16-bed ED
• Work 12-hour shifts as part of the coverage model
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure timely patient care
