We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians for upcoming locum tenens coverage in Florida. This is a great opportunity for physicians looking for December and January assignments in a busy emergency department with established physician coverage.

• Schedule: 12-hour physician shifts

• Annual ED Volume: 36,000 visits

• ED Beds: 16

• EMR: Cerner

• Location: Florida

• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license

• Active DEA with a Florida address

• DEA schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV, and V

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine preferred

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine experience will also be considered

• AAPS/ABPS candidates are not accepted

• ACLS

• PALS

• ATLS (waived for ABEM-certified physicians)

• Flu vaccination within the last 12 months

• TB screening within the last 12 months

• COVID documentation

• Case logs covering the past 2 years

• CME documentation covering the past 2 years

• Must be comfortable performing all procedures listed on the DOP

• $1M/$10M

• All required licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation must be available at the time of presentation.

• November availability is strongly preferred to allow adequate time for credentialing before the assignment begins.
