JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will consider BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience; AAPS/ABPS not accepted
• Licenses: Active Florida Medical License, DEA with FL address, Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5 required
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address, Schedules 2-5
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (unless ABEM certified)
• Experience: ABEM candidates preferred; FM/IM with EM experience accepted; November availability required
• Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination within last 12 months, TB screening within last 12 months, COVID documentation, case logs from past 2 years, CME documentation from past 2 years, Malpractice coverage $1M/$10M

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical care in a free-standing emergency department (FSED) setting during 12-hour shifts
• Manage approximately 99 patients per day with a variety of emergency medicine cases
• Perform all DOP-listed procedures
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital and credentialing requirements
