JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will consider BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience. AAPS/ABPS not accepted.
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License; Active DEA with Florida address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required (with Florida address)
• Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates; residency training in specialty preferred.
• Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination within last 12 months, TB screening within last 12 months, COVID documentation, case logs from past 2 years, CME documentation from past 2 years.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 16-bed ED with an annual volume of 36,000.
• Perform all DOP-listed procedures as required.
• Work 12-hour shifts covering various schedules including days, nights, and weekends.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner EMR system.
