JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience accepted. AAPS/ABPS not accepted.
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License; Active DEA with Florida address
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address required
• Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates
• Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination within last 12 months; TB screening within last 12 months; COVID documentation; Case logs from past 2 years; CME documentation from past 2 years

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
• Perform all DOP-listed emergency procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Document patient evaluations and treatments accurately in the Cerner EMR.
• Adhere to hospital credentialing, compliance, and quality standards.
