Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity supporting a U.S. Army healthcare facility in the Fort Stewart, Georgia area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced medical team in a well-supported military healthcare environment. The facility offers strong physician coverage, access to hospital resources, and a collaborative clinical setting.

The client has an immediate need for dependable providers who can commit to blocks of four consecutive 12-hour shifts, with coverage needed anywhere from 1–4 weeks per month.

Practice Highlights

• Level IV Emergency Department.
• Approximately 25,000 annual ER visits.
• Four physicians scheduled daily, typically providing double coverage.
• Strong clinical and hospital support through the U.S. Army healthcare system.
• Day and night shifts available.
• Opportunities for recurring monthly coverage.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Four consecutive 12-hour shifts per coverage block.
• Coverage needed 1–4 weeks per month.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Clean professional and credentialing history.
• Ability to complete U.S. Army onboarding and credentialing requirements.
• Must be comfortable with an approximately 3-month onboarding process before starting.
