- ABEM required
- License and DEA required
- Experience level: Minimum 2 year RECENT EM experience
- Case logs required
- Number of ER Bays: 24 beds, 7 vertical pathway, 2 intake rooms
- Number of Patients/Hour:1.6-1.8
- Patient mix: Mainly 2’s and 3’s
- Trauma center designation: LVL II
- Nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity
- Shift lengths? 9 hour shifts
- AM and PM Shift Coverage Needed
- Staffing Model: minimum of 1 physician and 1 APP during the day.
- Support staff :Normal ER support staff
- ED Admission Rate:35%
Additional details:
- Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a fast paced ED requiring high efficiency. There are two FSER’s associated with the main facility which see approximately 13-17 pts per day each. This locums position would likely be mostly working at the main ED, however there is the possibility of needing some hours to be allocated to the FSER’s. TBD
