Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an established regional medical center in Harlingen, Texas. Multiple day and night coverage needs are available, offering flexible shift options in a busy emergency department.

This is an excellent opportunity for residency-trained Emergency Medicine physicians looking for locum tenens coverage in the Rio Grande Valley.

Physician Shifts Available:

• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

• 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Both day and night coverage is needed.

• Annual ED Volume: Approximately 49,500 visits

• Hospital Size: 586 beds

• EMR: Cerner

• Established physician and NPPA coverage model

• Specialty support available, including:

  • Cardiology

  • General Surgery

  • Neurology

  • Neurosurgery

  • OB/GYN

  • Gastroenterology

• MD or DO

• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Emergency Medicine residency (minimum 3 years)

• ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Emergency Medicine residency training and/or continuous Emergency Medicine practice experience

• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain

• IMLC accepted

• Current CV

• Board certification status

• Active Texas medical license or IMLC eligibility
