Contract Duration: Minimum 6 Months (Potential Extension)
Work Schedule: 24–32 Hours per Week
Working Hours: Weekdays, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
Start Date: TBD, upon completion of credentialing

Patient Volume: Approximately 2.5 patients per hour
Work Setting: On-site
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services in a correctional healthcare setting. The physician will provide medical care to an adult male incarcerated population, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing medical management.
This is a part-time, long-term contract opportunity with flexible weekday scheduling and the potential for permanent employment.
o Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
o Prescribe and manage medications and appropriate treatments.
o Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
o Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical documentation.
o Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
o Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
o Ensure compliance with established medical standards, clinical protocols, and facility policies.
o Active, unrestricted Ohio Medical License.
o Board Certification.
o Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
o Previous experience in primary care.
o Experience in correctional or institutional healthcare is preferred.
