Emergency Medicine Physician ### Central Iowa (Des Moines Area) ### The Opportunity Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established, community-based practice with an academic tilt in Central Iowa. Employed physicians provide coverage across 4 unique Emergency Departments, offering exceptional variety in practice. Nocturnist preferred, but the schedule is a conversation — the role will be built around the right physician. • 130 hours/month across all four locations
• Shift duration varies by location: 8, 9, and 12-hour shifts
• Active involvement in educating Emergency Medicine residents
• Participation in non-clinical activities including education, scholarly activity, and departmental advancement
• Fully integrated Epic EMR across all sites --- ### Qualifications
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Unrestricted Iowa medical license (or eligibility)
• Unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
