Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Alamo, TX

Overview

This is an Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity providing coverage in a freestanding emergency department setting.

Schedule

12-hour shifts

Day: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Requirements

MD or DO degree with completion of a minimum three-year residency program (per Order description)

Board certification in ABEM or ABOEM (per Order description); ABIM or ABFM physicians with Emergency Medicine experience may be considered

Emergency Medicine residency training or a minimum of one year of Emergency Medicine experience as an MD/DO (per Order description)

Active Texas medical license (or ability to obtain) and active DEA registration (per Order description)

Additional certifications may be required for some candidates as outlined in the Order description

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

EMR

Cerner (PowerNote ED) with Dragon (per Order description)

Additional Notes

Cross-credentialing across affiliated emergency department locations is required (per Order description)
