Job description
Schedule: Starting 01/01/2027 with 9, 10, and 11-hour shifts available. Minimum commitment of 7 shifts per month. Providers must be willing to work days, evenings, and nights.
Patient Volume: Approximately 1.6 patients per hour per provider with a 27% admission rate
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Required Certifications: ACLS; ATLS required per training pathway
Required Skills/Procedures: Adult and pediatric emergency care, trauma stabilization, psychiatric emergency evaluation and management, and standard Emergency Medicine procedures
Credentialing: Emergency privileges available
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician preferred; Board Certified Family Medicine physicians with Emergency Medicine fellowship training or significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered
Additional Details: Level II Trauma Center with dedicated APP support, pediatric support, and specialty resources available. Patient population is approximately 85% adult and 15% pediatric. Strong clinical efficiency and experience in higher-volume emergency departments preferred. Potential for assignment extension beyond the initial term.
