JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) or ABIM/ABFM with EM experience
  
• Licenses: Active Texas License required
  
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  
• Certifications: ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (if applicable)
  
• Experience: EM residency trained or 1+ year EM experience as MD/DO
  
• Other Qualifications: IMLC eligible as of Oct 29, 2026; cross-credentialing at multiple STHS ERs required
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical services in a freestanding emergency department
  
• Manage trauma stabilization, observation care, and acute medical conditions
  
• Interpret advanced imaging (CT, X-ray) and utilize on-site laboratory services
  
• Document patient encounters in Cerner PowerNote ED with Dragon
  
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights) to ensure 24/7 coverage
