Schedule: 12-hour physician shifts; cross-credentialing required across multiple emergency departments

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a high-volume community emergency department setting with advanced practice provider support.

Clinical Scope Highlights

Approximately 47,000 annual emergency department visits

Emergency department beds: 38 private treatment rooms

Coverage model includes 48 hours of physician coverage daily and advanced practice provider support

EMR: Cerner

Required Qualifications

MD/DO

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)

Active Texas medical license required at time of submission

Active DEA required

ACLS required

PALS required

ATLS required (at least once in career)

Candidates must not have malpractice, license, or background issues

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

Onboarding and credentialing timeline varies by worksite; estimated 61 - 90 days

Submission package includes current CV, license, DEA, board certification, and required certification verifications
