Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens
South-Central, Alabama
Our client is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician for coverage at a 80-bed hospital with a 10-bed Emergency Department.
Opportunity highlights
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient volume: Approximately 25 patients per shift
- Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours only
- EMR: MEDHOST
- Trauma designation: Level 3
- Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients, with patient rounding as part of the role, and supervise Advance Practice Providers
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Alabama license or eligible through IMLC
- Fellowship training preferred
