Job description
An ongoing emergency medicine locum opening at a hospital in the Andalusia, AL area. No call, a 10-bed Level III ED, about 25 patients per shift, and a team of three RNs, two MAs and a PA/NP working with you. You supervise the APP and the rest is straight emergency medicine, on MEDHOST. Pay is $285.75/hr and travel is covered. Credentialing takes about 2 days, so once you are cleared you can start quickly.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the PA/NP working alongside you
- Work with a support team of 3 RNs and 2 MAs
- No admissions, no inpatient rounding, no call
Qualifications
- ACLS, ATLS and PALS
- Comfortable supervising advanced practice providers
- Board certification not required
