Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 24-hour physician coverage

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a freestanding emergency department setting with on-site diagnostic services.

Clinical Scope Highlights

Annual emergency department volume: 9,000

Exam rooms: 9

Trauma rooms: 1

EMR: Cerner

On-site diagnostic resources include laboratory services and radiology services (X-ray, CT, ultrasound)

Cross-credentialing required across multiple affiliated emergency care facilities

Required Qualifications

MD/DO

Active Texas medical license

DEA registration required

Board Certification required: ABEM, ABIM, or ABFM

ABIM or ABFM candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience

ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required

Must meet all certification and experience requirements prior to presentation

Candidates must not have malpractice, license, or background issues

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
