Location: IN
Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine locum tenens coverage within a cross-credentialed model supporting two acute care emergency departments in the same regional health system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency department physician coverage across two sites as scheduled
Maintain privileges and credentialing at both sites
Perform moderate sedation as required
Required Qualifications
MD/DO
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required); Board Eligible may be considered
Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
Indiana controlled substance registration
DEA with Indiana address covering schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (or ability to obtain)
Emergency department experience preferred
Case logs covering the previous 2 years required
CME attestation and CME documentation (past 2 years) required
Flu vaccination (during active flu season), TB test within the previous 12 months (or chest X-ray if applicable), and COVID documentation required
Indiana Patient’s Compensation Fund (IPCF) enrollment required
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

10-year malpractice claims history required
