Emergency Medicine Assistant Medical Director – 1 Hour Northeast of Cleveland

An established emergency medicine program in Northeast Ohio, approximately 60 miles northeast of Cleveland, is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an Assistant Medical Director position.

This opportunity combines clinical emergency medicine with administrative leadership responsibilities in a busy community hospital.

Opportunity Highlights

• Assistant Medical Director position
• Modern, 24-bed Emergency Department
• Approximately 27,000 annual ED visits
• Medium-to-high acuity patient population
• Approximately 2 patients per hour
• 24 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APP coverage
• Community hospital with emergency trauma evaluation and transfer capabilities
• Helipad available for higher-acuity transfers
• Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the Medical Director on clinical operations and quality improvement
• Support physician and APP development
• Opportunity to work with residents and medical students

Qualifications

• ABEM board certification required
• Prior emergency medicine leadership experience preferred, but not required
• Interest in clinical operations, quality improvement, and team development
• Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
