Opportunity Overview
- Board certified/board eligible (ABP/AOBP) Pediatricians with EM experience preferred
- EMR: Epic
- Annual volume: 6,000 for pediatric ED
- 24 hours pediatric emergency physician coverage per day (12-hour shifts)
- Adult EM physicians to assist, as needed, with advanced airway and critical care
- Must be comfortable working with ages birth up to 18
- 4 pediatric ED beds with ED observation capability
- NICU staffed with 24-hour, in-house neonatology, no delivery room responsibilities
- CHOP, Nemours, St. Christopher's Hospital, and Cooper Hospital pediatric specialists for consults and transfers
- Medical students and PA students rotate through pediatric ED along with family medicine, orthopedic, and podiatry residents from Jefferson Health Teaching affiliate with Rowan University
