JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Indiana Medical License (or ability to obtain); Indiana Controlled Substance Registration
  
• DEA / CDS: DEA with Indiana address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ability to obtain)
  
• Experience: Completion of ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency
  
• Other Qualifications: Case logs covering previous two years; CME Attestation; 10-year malpractice claims history; Indiana Patient's Compensation Fund enrollment; Coverys malpractice coverage ($500K/$1.5M)
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
  
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as required.
  
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and support personnel for optimal patient outcomes.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
  
• Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
