WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians or physicians with current board certification in another specialty for a locum tenens opportunity in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.

This opportunity offers ongoing coverage in a high-volume Emergency Department with 46 beds and approximately 54,000 annual visits. The department utilizes an APP-supported coverage model, and physicians will work alongside advanced practice providers.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: January 2027

• Emergency Department Capacity: 46 beds

• Annual ED Volume: Approximately 54,000 visits

• Coverage Model: Physicians will not work solo.
  

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license.

• Pennsylvania DEA registration.

• Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  

• Physicians must be comfortable providing emergency department care in a high-volume setting.

• Certifications: Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required, including for physicians boarded in specialties other than Emergency Medicine.
