Emergency Medicine Opening in MI Located in Sault Ste. Marie Traverse City 3hrs; Detroit 4.5hrs Full-time; permanent Seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established ED in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Experienced candidates, graduating residents and fellows welcome. Other specialties considered. Affiliate of University of Michigan Health. Practice Highlights
- 18-bed ED renovated and expanded in 2017
- Annual ED volume approximately 16,000
- Solo physician coverage with APP support 10am–10pm daily
- 12-hour shifts: 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am with overlap for handoff
- Separate walk-in clinic across the street staffed by NP/PA 9am–7pm
- Strong specialist support including psychiatry
- Trauma team available and on-site within 20 minutes Qualifications
- BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Med-Peds
- U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License Compensation & Benefits
