Position Overview
Client is seeking an ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity at in Michigan. This position offers scheduled 12-hour shifts with no call responsibilities and the potential for ongoing coverage opportunities.
Coverage Schedule -
December 8–11, 2026: 8 AM – 8 PM
December 19–21, 2026: 8 AM – 8 PM
December 27–29, 2026: 8 AM – 8 PM
January 8–10, 2027: 8 AM – 8 PM
January 21–23, 2027: 8 AM – 8 PM
Orientation: One day of onsite orientation is required before the first assigned shift block.
Facility Details
- Emergency Department with 11 beds
- Average of 36 patients per day
- Level III trauma facility
- EMR: Meditech
- Staffing support includes 2–3 RNs and 1 PA/NP
- Admissions required
- Supervision of advanced practice providers required
- No resident or teaching supervision required
- Outpatient practice setting
Requirements
ABEM certification required
Active Michigan medical license or IMLC
Updated CV and NPDB Report
Compensation: $300/hour
The facility may have an ongoing need for Emergency Medicine physicians beyond the listed coverage dates.
