Job description
- Facility Profile: Level III Trauma Center managing approximately 15,000–16,000 annual ED visits (averaging 38–45 patients per day).
- Board Certification: ABEM/AOBEM board certified or board eligible is preferred. However, Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) board-certified physicians with strong, proven emergency department experience are also actively considered.
Job Responsibilities
-EMR System: Epic.
-Layout: 9 treatment bays, 2 dedicated trauma rooms, and 2 triage rooms.
Qualifications
-Certifications: Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Facility offers an on-site ATLS course if yours needs refreshing).
Working Hours
-Commitment: Highly flexible; you submit your open availability, and the department builds the monthly schedule around you. Assignments range from a minimum of 5 to 12 shifts per month up to a full-time block.
-On-Call: No call responsibilities and no mandatory overtime.
-Duration: Ongoing, long-term coverage options through 2027.
