Job description
- An emergency medicine physician is needed for a well-established community hospital serving the surrounding suburbs and nearby counties
- Annual ED visits of 38K with medium-high acuity
- 160-bed hospital with a 25-bed ED and a fast-track area
- Thirty-three–36 hours of daily physician coverage plus 22–28 hours of APC coverage
- Hospital medicine program in place with an approximately 20% admission rate
- Comprehensive hospital services, including stroke care, critical care, advanced imaging, and interventional radiology
- Recognized for quality and patient safety, with a strong community-hospital environment
- Board Eligible physicians; Emergency Medicine board specialty required
- ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Live in a welcoming community known for its beautiful neighborhoods, parks, local events, and strong sense of community
