WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Longview, Texas, approximately three hours east of Dallas. This opportunity is at a Level III Trauma Center with a collaborative physician and APP coverage model.

This position is ideal for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician looking to provide high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP

• Location: Longview, Texas

• Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center

• Annual Emergency Department Volume: Approximately 8,500 visits

• Average Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 23 patients

• Emergency Department Beds: 12

• Coverage Model: 50 physician hours and 30 APP hours

• EMR: Epic

• Travel and Lodging: Covered

Requirements

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM only).

• Current ACLS certification.

• Current ATLS certification.

• Ability to provide high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting.
