JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC in EM, FM, IM, or GS
- Licenses: Active TX License, Active TX DEA with schedules 2-5
- DEA / CDS: Active Texas DEA with schedules 2-5 required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required (if not EM Board Certified)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in EM or related specialty
- Other Qualifications: CME/CEU documentation past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, immunizations up to date
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Manage acute medical and trauma cases in a Level IV trauma center.
- Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a) to ensure 24/7 physician coverage.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in Medhost EMR.
