"Critical Care Intensivist Opening in Savannah, GA
Located in Savannah, GA; in Savannah
Overview
* A critical care physician group (part of a national health system) is seeking an Intensivist for a Level I trauma center hospital
* 15 twelve hour shifts per month, a mix of days and nights with block scheduling
* Staffing: 3 physicians and 2 APPs during the day, 1 physician and 1 APP at night plus a swing shift APP, with residents on both shifts
* High acuity 54 bed ICU (26 medical/surgical, 18 neuro and 10 CVICU)
* ACGME residency programs with clinical teaching opportunity
* Ability to start in 2026, employed W2 opportunity
* No visas (no J-1 or H-1B)
Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care (open to critical care backgrounds in nephrology, anesthesiology, internal medicine, pulmonary and emergency medicine)
