Emergency Medicine Opening in Waterloo & Marshalltown, IA
Multiple locations: Waterloo and Marshalltown, IA, with opportunities across two hospitals
BE/BC in Emergency Medicine
Full-time; Permanent position
Overview
Coverage across 2 hospitals
Serve a diverse population in the two hospital's Emergency Departments
Cohesive and experienced group of colleagues
Dedicated staff and specially trained nurses in providing emergency adult and pediatric care, as well as in trauma and resuscitation
Scribe service available
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Physician and APP coverage with various shift options
12-hour and variable-length shifts
Level 3 & 4 Trauma Centers
EDs ranging from 16–31 beds
Approximately 55–98 ED visits daily
Access to a broad range of specialties
24/7 respiratory therapy available at one location
Behavioral health rooms and dedicated trauma facilities at select locations
