Full Time | Emergency Medicine
Seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician or BC/BE Family Medicine Physician with Emergency Medicine experience to join a collaborative Emergency Department in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Position Highlights:
Level III Trauma Center
Approximately 13,000-14,000 annual patient visits
Average of 16-18 patients per shift
24-hour physician coverage with 12-hour shifts
Single physician coverage overnight with additional peak-volume coverage
1.0 FTE equals 11 shifts per month with opportunities for additional shifts
NP/PA coverage daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Newly remodeled Emergency Department
Epic EMR with DAX ambient AI documentation
Collegial team of four Emergency Medicine physicians, adding a fifth provider
Flexible scheduling with physician leadership opportunities
Physician-led organization
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience or additional EM training considered
ACLS, ATLS (or CALS), and PALS certifications required
Eligible for Minnesota medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
$255.08 per hour
