Emergency MD
Location: AR
Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM); 10 shifts per month
Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine coverage on 24-hour physician shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency medicine coverage during 24-hour shifts
Document patient care using the EMR (Medhost)
Facility Highlights
Approximately 5,000 annual visits
Approximately 14 patients per day
Required Qualifications
MD or DO
Completion of residency program in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery
Active Arkansas medical license
Active DEA with Arkansas address covering Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
ATLS certification required
2 years of case logs
Proof of 40 Category 1 CME hours
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing / Onboarding Items
Estimated privileging timeframe: approximately 60 days
