Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a critical access hospital emergency department.

Clinical Scope Highlights

Hospital setting: critical access hospital

Emergency department beds: 5

Annual emergency department volume: approximately 19,000

EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (as accepted by the site)

Active Louisiana medical license (IMLC or Louisiana license required)

Active DEA with a Louisiana address

ACLS required; ATLS and PALS required for Family Medicine/Internal Medicine pathways

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
