Position Overview
Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a high-volume emergency department.
Clinical Scope Highlights
Approximately 50,000 annual emergency department visits
Trauma designation: Level III
Emergency department beds: 33 (including trauma bays)
Moderate sedation required
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Indiana medical license
Indiana controlled substance registration
Active DEA with an Indiana address covering schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
Board certification as required by the site (ABEM/AOBEM preferred); some ABMS specialties may be accepted with documented high-volume emergency department experience
BLS required
Case logs required for the past 2 years
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing / Onboarding Items
Immunization documentation required (including flu, TB, and COVID)
CME attestation required during the application process
