Schedule: Multiple shift options including 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM, and 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a high-volume emergency department.

Clinical Scope Highlights

Trauma designation: Level II

Annual emergency department volume: approximately 52,000

Average daily volume: approximately 132 patients per day

Admission rate: approximately 30%

Required Qualifications

MD/DO

Active Arkansas medical license

DEA with Arkansas address

Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine as documented (ABEM/board eligible or ABPS/EM)

ATLS required (ACLS/PALS not required)

Current CV, driver’s license, color photo, and CME activity documentation (past 2 years if out of residency for more than 2 years)

TB and flu compliance within the past 12 months; COVID documentation as required

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 - 90 days
