Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage within a regional coverage model with cross-credentialing across multiple emergency departments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency medicine coverage across cross-credentialed emergency departments

Document and manage patient care using Epic

Meet required credentialing and CME requirements, including stroke CME compliance

Clinical Scope Highlights

Emergency departments range from 10 to 37 beds with annual volumes up to 51,000

Full radiology, CT, ultrasound, and lab services are available

Required Qualifications

MD/DO

Active, unrestricted Florida medical license

Active DEA with a Florida address

ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications

Case logs from the past two years

CME documentation from the past two years

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Florida Background Screening Requirement
