Job description

Job description A hospital in the Clinton, NC area needs a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for two solo 12-hour ER shifts: Friday 11/27 and Saturday 12/26, both 7a to 7p. Pay is $308 per hour. A hospital-owned apartment is provided, and travel is reimbursed up to $500. No call. One hard gate before anything else: you must be credentialed with NC Medicaid and enrolled in PECOS, and physicians who are not enrolled cannot be submitted.

Job Responsibilities

Solo emergency department coverage with two mid-level providers splitting coverage alongside you, and an open ICU. About 90-100 patients a day, with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients in a 12-hour shift. Annual volume is about 32,000 visits.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. NC license or IMLC. NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS (required and verified at submission). Temporary privileges are available, and credentialing runs about 14 days.

Working Hours

12-hour shifts, 7a to 7p. Friday 11/27 and Saturday 12/26. Take one or both.
