Job description
A Level III trauma center in south central Nebraska is looking for an emergency physician for an ongoing locum assignment of at least 26 weeks, starting as soon as you are credentialed. The ED sees about 16,000 visits a year across 9 treatment areas, 2 trauma rooms, and 2 triage rooms, with a physician and two APPs on every shift. You pick up 12 hour shifts, 8a to 8p or 8p to 8a, rotating days and nights, with the schedule built around your availability. Full-time is preferred, and flexible part-time schedules are considered. No call and no overtime.
Pay is $300/hr, with 12 hours guaranteed per shift. Mileage is covered, lodging is provided (apartments and houses available), and travel is reimbursed with receipts.
Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), or Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience, all accepted. Reach Kevin Griffin at [Register to View] or [Register to View]

Job Responsibilities
- Work alongside a physician and two APPs on every shift
- Cover trauma resuscitation in a Level III trauma center
- Chart in Epic
Qualifications
- Nebraska license (the IMLC can be used for physicians; the facility will wait for licensure)
- Current ATLS (the hospital offers the course on site), ACLS, and PALS
- Candidates on J-1 or H-1B visas are not eligible
