- ASAP need
- Physician coverage: 24 hours/day
- 12-hour physician shifts
- No call listed
- Annual ED volume: approximately 24,500
- 13 ED beds:
- 8 regular rooms
- 2 negative-pressure rooms
- 2 trauma rooms
- 1 cardiac room
- Level III Trauma Center
- EMR: Cerner
- Complex pediatric cases transferred to Corpus Christi or San Antonio
- Available resources include Cath Lab, CT, ICU, MRI, PT, Behavioral Health/Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Urology, and Trauma
- Certifications: TX license, ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM, DEA, ATLS, ACLS, PALS
- Clean file required
