A hospital in the Tracy, Minnesota area needs an emergency medicine or family practice physician for a locum assignment built around about one week a month. $150 an hour, with your expenses covered. Pick the weeks that fit your calendar from a schedule that runs from this fall through July 2027.

Job Responsibilities

Cover a small community hospital and its clinic in 24-hour shifts. During the day you see patients in clinic until 5pm, and after 5pm you cover the emergency department. The schedule is set weeks ahead, and each assignment runs about a week.

Qualifications

Emergency medicine or family medicine physician comfortable covering both an ED and a clinic. Minnesota licensure required. Board certification, certifications, and credentialing details are reviewed on a first call.

Working Hours

24-hour shifts, or clinic during the day until 5pm with ED coverage after 5pm. About one week a month. Open weeks in 2026: Oct 9 (Fri, 5pm) to Oct 12 (Mon, 7am); Oct 13 (Tue, 7am) to Oct 20 (Tue, 7am); Nov 6 (Fri, 5pm) to Nov 9 (Mon, 7am); Nov 10 (Tue, 7am) to Nov 16 (Mon, 7am); Dec 4 (Fri, 5pm) to Dec 12 (Sat, 7am); Dec 13 (Sun, 7am) to Dec 18 (Fri, 5pm). Open weeks in 2027, each from 7am Monday to 7am Monday unless noted: Jan 18 to 25; Feb 15 to 22; Mar 15 to 22; Mar 29 to Apr 5; Apr 26 to May 10; May 31 to Jun 7; Jun 14 to 21; Jul 2 (Fri, 5pm) to Jul 5 (Mon, 7am); Jul 19 to 26.
