• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days

• Monday–Friday: 30 physician hours with 34 NP/PA hours

• Saturday–Sunday: 33 physician hours with 24 NP/PA hours

• Scribe coverage: 36 hours

• MD/DO with completed Emergency Medicine residency

• ABEM board certification required

• New EM graduates accepted

• Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license

• Active DEA with Louisiana address

• Louisiana Controlled Substance License

• Supervising Physician License for PA supervision

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as applicable

• If ABEM-certified and actively participating in ABEM MOC, no additional merit badges are required

• If EM board eligible, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required; AHA preferred

• Case logs for the past 2 years

• CME documentation for the past 2 years

• Current-season flu vaccination

• TB documentation from the past 12 months or chest X-ray, as applicable

• Health attestation completed by PCP or peer

• Malpractice coverage of $100K/$300K

• LPCF enrollment required; locums must be enrolled for a minimum of 90 days at a time
