Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician – Summerlin Hospital, Las Vegas, NV

• Location: Summerlin, NV (Las Vegas suburb)
• Start Date: Upon approval, flexible timing
• Duration: Full-time, permanent position
• Shift: Rounding with call from home
• Hours/Week: 40+ hours
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Licensing/Certifications: Active Nevada medical license preferred; board eligibility required
• Experience: Recent inpatient pediatric experience (minimum 1 year), current or recent hospitalist work

• Provide pediatric hospitalist services on a 34-bed pediatric floor
• Participate in rounding, patient assessments, and management
• Collaborate with subspecialty teams and Neonatology/PICU support
• Engage in teaching pediatric residents and medical students
• Manage acutely ill pediatric patients in a dedicated Pediatric ED
• Ensure high-quality patient care aligned with hospital standards
• Maintain accurate case logs and clinical records

• Required:
  • Active or pending Nevada medical license
  • Current inpatient pediatric experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Board eligible within 5 years of eligibility
  • Ability to provide case logs from recent hospitalist work
• Preferred:
  • Experience with pediatric hospital medicine
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
