Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of ACGME-accredited emergency medicine residency Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine Visa sponsorship (J-1 or H-1B) not available Position Details Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join the practice. Part-time position with flexible scheduling Recently renovated community hospital emergency department with nearly 40,000 annual visits Stroke Center with dedicated stroke-care capabilities Excellent physician, APP, and nursing staffing with low turnover Seamless access to specialists, inpatient services, and transfer pathways Additional opportunity at an affiliated freestanding emergency department in Winsted, open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM EMR with voice dictation Provide comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population Teach residents and medical students Opportunities in departmental leadership, quality improvement, and education Connecticut: Connecticut offers physicians and their families some of the finest schools in the nation, four beautiful seasons of recreational activities, and options to live in leafy suburbs, or in vibrant urban areas.
