JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) or Family Medicine (ABFM). EM or FM residency trained required. ABFM physicians must have 2+ years ED experience at facilities with 10k+ annual volume.
- Certifications: ATLS and ACLS required for non-boarded EM and FM physicians. EM boarded physicians do not need to maintain ATLS once boarded. Initial ATLS required for EM boarded physicians but does not need to be current.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (NPPAs) to manage patient volume.
- Perform emergency procedures as required for the treatment of patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR.
- Comply with all credentialing, onboarding, and hospital orientation requirements.
